>The Lanesboro Public Library is proud to present the next author in our fall author series. Fantasy author Patrick Rothfuss will visit the library on Wednesday, November 12th. He will have a writer’s workshop at 4:00 and a reading and author talk at 7:00 p.m. Rothfuss is author of The Name of the Wind, the tale of a magically gifted young man who grows to be the most notorious wizard his world has every seen. This novel has been placed in the top ten of the “New York Times Book Review” for paperback best sellers and received favorable reviews from such fantasy giants as Ursula K. Le Guin, Orson Scott Card, Robin Hobb, Anne McCaffrey, and Terry Brooks. Patrick Rothfuss lives in central Wisconsin, where he teaches at the local college and is busy working on his next book.
