According to state requirements, libraries may reopen but only to the extent that the facility takes reasonable measures to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 consistant with guidance from SELCO and the state of MN.

With this in mind, the Lanesboro Public Library reopens with changes the week of Monday, June 22.  M/W/F (1-6 pm); T/TR door closed but with curbside pick-up (4-6 pm); Saturday closed.

Hand sanitizer will be available and face masks are required for those that are able. The library has masks to hand out for those who do not have one.

Please return all library materials to the book drop at the entrance to the building.

As we must limit the number of people in the building at one time find your books and materials to check out as quickly as possible. Consider placing your requests online, by email or phone for a quick library or curbside pick-up.

Children are expected to remain with their accompanying adult at all times while in the building.

There are 2 computers available for patrons to use for 45 minutes. Cleaning between patron uses will be necessary.

If you or a member of your household are sick or have been exposed to someone with Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks, we ask that you do not come into the library. Call (507-467-2649) for other options.
