>A warm welcome to new Assistant Librarian, Beth Anderson, who started at the Library on July 1st. Beth comes to us from Preston, where she has worked as Assistant Librarian at the Preston Public Library for the past 12 years – she will now split her time between the two libraries. Beth may be a familiar face to many, as she has been a long-time sub at our Library and also served as Acting Director during the summer of 2001. Beth and her husband Dave have five children, 2 boys and 3 girls, ranging in age from 13 – 23. Her children Shira and Eli are in the 8th and 10th grades at the Lanesboro School. Beth enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, playing bluegrass music with her family, and attending bluegrass festivals.
